Aluratek ADMPF107 7" Digital Picture Frame with 256MB Memory Review

The Aluratek ADMPF107 7" Digital Picture Frame is one of two 7 inch frames offered in the Aluratek Digital Lifestyle Devices range. The other is the ADMPF007F. The main difference between to 2 frames in the ADMPF107's 256MB of internal memory. The Aluratek ADMPF107 7" Digital Picture Frame is the topic of this review.

Summary of Specifications:

  • Screen Size: 7 Inches
  • Cards Supported: MMC, MS, CF, MD and SD memory card formats
  • Image Formats: JPG, BMP
  • Video Support: WMA, MPEG4 and AVI
  • Audio Support: MP3 via internal speakers
  • Internal Memory: 256MB included
  • Warranty: 120 Days
Full specifications are available here.

Features:

Like the ADMPF007F, the ADMPF107 lets you view images by taking your memory card directly from your camcorder or digital camera and plugging it into the digital picture frame.

But even better, with the ADMPF107, you can transfer your digital photos, video and audio files from your camera, pc or other USB device onto the frame's internal memory. There is full usb 2.0 support and the frame is compatible with Windows® 2000, XP and Vista or Mac OS 10.4 and later operating systems. You can then show all of your photos and movies in statd alone mode (ie. without having your camera's memory card plugged into the photo frame).

Again like the ADMPF007F, this frame also has full video and audio support through built-in speakers. And you can configure mp3 audio files to play as background music to your digital photo slideshows.

Limitations:

This digital picture frame provides almost all of the features of any frame which I have reviewed. The warranty is only 120 days however, with some manufacturers offering 1 year.

The Aluratek ADMPF107 7" Digital Photo Frame comes with an AC Power Adapter, Remote Control, USB 2.0 Cable and Instruction Manual. The warranty period is 120 days.
